SkinVive -
Hyaluronic Acid Micro-droplet
skin booster
Hydrate, smooth and restore skin quality — SKINVIVE (the Juvéderm® micro-droplet HA treatment) delivers tiny, intradermal deposits of hyaluronic acid to improve skin hydration, smoothness and radiance without adding noticeable volume.

How it works
SKINVIVE uses a micro-droplet technique: Placement of many tiny deposits of stabilised hyaluronic acid into the dermis. These micro-reservoirs attract and retain moisture, improving skin hydration from within and smoothing superficial lines and texture. Over weeks, the treated skin appears more radiant, supple and refined.
Benefits
SKINVIVE is ideal for both men and women who want to:
• Improve skin texture and hydration rather than add volume.
• Reduce fine lines and boost radiance across cheeks, lower face and neck.
• Avoid downtime or aggressive resurfacing procedures.
A full consultation is required to confirm suitability (pregnancy, breastfeeding, active infection, recent isotretinoin use and certain medications may preclude treatment).
What to expect
What to expect
• Pre-treatment consultation: Medical history, expectations and consent.
• Treatment (around 30 min): The area to be treated will be cleansed and marked into 1cm squares, then multiple micro-droplet injections will be administered across the cheeks (and other areas if appropriate).
• Post-treatment: You may have pinpoint redness, tiny bumps or mild swelling which generally settles quickly. Expect gradual improvement over 1-2 weeks as hydration increases.
Areas commonly treated
• Cheeks
• Perioral region
• Neck
Aftercare — easy but important
To ensure optimal results and safety:
• Avoid touching or massaging treated areas for 6–24 hours.
• Avoid strenuous exercise, saunas and hot baths for 24–48 hours.
• Skip alcohol for 24 hours pre/post to reduce bruising risk and avoid strong active skincare (retinoids, strong acids) for 2–3 days.
• Use gentle cleanser, moisturiser and broad-spectrum SPF daily; stay well hydrated.
• Book a follow-up as recommended.
Risks, side-effects & safety
Common: mild redness, swelling, tenderness, tiny bumps or bruising that resolve within days.
• Less common/rare: infection, allergic reaction, or persistent lumps — minimised by experienced injectors and sterile technique. Inform your clinician of all medications and medical history.
Why choose a medical clinic
Medical assessment, customised treatment plans, and strict device protocols ensure safe, predictable, and clinically effective outcomes. Dermalux treatment in a regulated medical clinic maximises results and minimises risks.
FAQ
Q: Is SKINVIVE a dermal filler?
A: It’s a hyaluronic acid injectable specifically formulated for intradermal micro-droplet placement to improve skin quality and hydration rather than to create volume like traditional fillers.
Q: How many sessions will I need?
A: Many patients receive a single treatment; we commonly recommend repeat treatments every 6-9 months to maintain results.
Q: When will I see results?
A: Some patients notice immediate subtle improvement; full hydration and textural benefits typically develop over several weeks as the HA integrates into the dermis.
Q: Does it hurt?
A: Discomfort is generally minimal as the product contains a numbing agent.
Q: Can SKINVIVE be combined with other treatments?
A: Yes — it is commonly combined with other treatments (fillers, neuromodulators, skin boosters, LED).
