MESOTOX

Microneedling + Neuromodulator (Intradermal Botox)

A subtle, modern approach to skin rejuvenation — combines the collagen-boosting effects of microneedling with ultra-fine intradermal neuromodulator (Botox) delivered into the dermis to reduce pore size, refine texture, reduce fine lines and give a radiant, smoother complexion.

How MESOTOX works

1. Numbing: We apply a topical numbing cream to make the treatment comfortable.

2. Microneedling: A precise medical device creates controlled microchannels in the skin which stimulate collagen & elastin production and improve product absorption.

3. Intradermal neuromodulator: While the microchannels are open, a diluted neuromodulator (Botox) is delivered superficially into the dermis (not the same as the deeper anti-wrinkle injections). This targets superficial muscle activity and skin texture at the level of the pores and dermis.

4. Dermalux LED: A short LED session soothes, speeds recovery and enhances collagen activation.

Benefit

• Refines skin texture and reduces pore appearance.

• Smoothes fine lines and early expression lines.

• Reduces oiliness and improves overall skin tone.

• Promotes collagen and elastin remodelling for firmer skin.

• Can help improve acne scarring and uneven texture.

• Quicker recovery than more aggressive resurfacing treatments.

erated healing post-clinical treatments.

Who is a good candidate?

MESOTOX is ideal for clients who want surface smoothing and pore refinement without the downtime of stronger resurfacing treatments. Good candidates typically:

• Have concerns about enlarged pores, fine lines, dull texture or early scarring.

• Want a natural, refreshed result rather than dramatic change.

• Are not pregnant or breastfeeding.

Not suitable for people with: active skin infections (cold sores, acne flare), recent use of isotretinoin (within 6–12 months—your clinician will check), certain autoimmune disorders, uncontrolled diabetes, or if you’re taking some blood-thinning medications. A full medical consultation and patch assessment will confirm suitability.

Your clinic journey — what to expect

Arrival & consultation (10–15 min): We review your medical history, expectations and obtain consent.

• Cleansing & topical numbing (20–30 min): Numbing cream applied to ensure comfort.

• Microneedling + intradermal neuromodulator (25–30 min): The treatment proper — the practitioner will glide the device across the face and deliver the neuromodulator superficially through the microchannels.

• Dermalux LED (10–15 min): Calming light therapy to reduce inflammation and accelerate healing.

• Aftercare briefing & product advice (5–10 min)

Aftercare — easy but important

To get the best results and avoid complications:

• First 24 hours: Keep the skin clean and avoid makeup if possible. Use the gentle cleanser we supply.

• 48–72 hours: Expect mild redness, warmth and pinpoint bleeding initially. Use only the products recommended by your clinician (typically a gentle cleanser and hydrating serum).

• Avoid: heavy exercise, saunas, swimming pools and direct sun exposure for 48–72 hours. Don’t pick or rub the skin. Avoid retinoids and strong acids for 5–7 days.

• Sun protection: Use broad-spectrum SPF 30+ daily from day 3 onward (and ideally immediately once skin barrier is comfortable).

• Hydration: Keep skin hydrated — hyaluronic serums and moisturisers recommended by us will help healing and comfort.

• Follow-up: Book review at 2 weeks and plan subsequent sessions as advised.

Risks, side-effects & safety

• Common: redness, mild swelling, tenderness, tiny crusts or flaking — usually resolves in 1–3 days.

• Less common: bruising, transient numbness, local allergic reaction (rare).

• Rare but important: infection (minimised by sterile technique), or asymmetrical effects if aftercare not followed.

Your clinician will explain risks during consultation and answer any questions.

FAQ

Q: Is MESOTOX the same as traditional Botox?

A: No — traditional Botox for dynamic lines is injected deeper into specific muscles to relax them. MESOTOX uses highly diluted neuromodulator intradermally alongside microneedling to target pore size, texture and superficial muscle tone for a refreshed skin surface.

Q: How many treatments will I need?

A: Most clients see best results with a course of 3 treatments, spaced 4–6 months apart.

Q: When will I see results?

A: You may notice smoother texture within 7–14 days as inflammation settles; collagen remodelling continues, with optimal improvements after the treatment course (8–12 weeks).

Q: Does it hurt?

A: The skin is numbed before the procedure so discomfort is minimal — many clients describe pressure or mild vibration during needling.

Q: Can I combine MESOTOX with other treatments?

A: Yes — we commonly pair it with light chemical peels, LED therapy (we include Dermalux), or a tailored homecare program. Your clinician will advise safe timing for any additional in-clinic procedures.

Q: How long before a special event should I book?

A: Allow at least 7–14 days before an important event for initial redness to fade; ideally start your course several months ahead for best collagen results.

Q: Is MESOTOX safe if I’ve had fillers?

A: Generally yes, but you should inform your clinician of any recent fillers. We’ll review timing on an individual basis.
